Your reflection today [Niedziela wielkanocna, 17 kwietnia]

First, read an excerpt from today’s Bible reading:

J20, 1-9

The first day after the Sabbath, early in the morning, when it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and found a stone rolled away from the tomb. And she ran to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, The Lord is taken out of the sepulcher, and we know not where he is.

So Peter and the other disciples go out and go to the tomb. They were both running together, but the other disciple overtook Peter and reached the tomb first. When he bent down he saw the clothes lying, but did not come inside.

Then Simon Peter followed him. He entered the tomb and found the linen cloths and the scarf on his head, not lying with the clothes, rolled up in one place separately. Then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered. He looked up and believed. Because they had not yet understood the scripture, that he would rise again from the dead.
