Young tells the drama of Rayo Vallecano: he sleeps on the floor and does not receive

Jean-Paul Ngoli is 20 years old and used to play for Evro FC 27, a team that plays in the fifth tier of football in France. Having emerged in the pre-season for Team B at Rayo Vallecano, he cemented a dream of being happy in Spain. However, he woke up to a nightmare.

The young French striker trained and played in friendly matches for Rayo Vallecano B without a contract. When they presented him with a document to sign, the proposed amount was half of what was expected.

Ngoli did not sign and was kept in a tragic situation for two months: training, without a contract and without pay, as well as having to sleep on the floor of a communal apartment with six other guys at the club.

«In the apartment we are seven against four rooms, there are two bathrooms, but only one works. No bed in two of the bedrooms, just a mattress on the floor. It’s where I sleep,” he explained to Cadena SER.

“We have a sofa in the living room, but we can’t even sit because it’s all damp. The club doesn’t pay the person who comes to clean the house and cook, so that person doesn’t shop either. He won’t work for free. We pay for our food with the money our families send and we try to help the younger players. Jean-Paul Ngoli denounces.

The testimony of the young Frenchman aroused great excitement in Spain, and as a result of the interview, Rayo Vallecano Ngoli was prevented from continuing to train with the second team.
