Xiaomi starts the year with new releases of smartphones, with inexpensive equipment. It is called POCO C50 and it was presented this morning in India.
It is a device that has modest specifications overall. But for a terminal that costs less than €100, you can’t ask for more than it gives.
It has a 6.52 inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. On the same screen we have a drop-shaped notch where the 5MP front camera is placed.
The smartphone is powered by the modest Helio A22 processor from MediaTek. Added to this is the ability to choose between 2 and 3 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage.
Xiaomi POCO C50 has Android GO
On the back we have an 8MP main camera, accompanied by a 0.8MP secondary sensor. It should also be noted that the device arrives on Android GO, based on Android 12.
The device houses a 5,000mAh battery with 10W primary charging. You can count on a fingerprint sensor on the back, storage expansion via microSD, and a 3.5mm jack input. It also has Bluetooth 5.0 and FM radio support.
Xiaomi POCO C50 price and availability
It will be available for sale in blue and green colors, with 2GB + 32GB variants priced at 6,249 rupees (72 euros) and 3GB + 32GB priced at 6,999 rupees (80 euros). There are currently no details about the release date outside India.
