William and Kate recreate the iconic Queen moment in Jamaica

a Prince William and Kate Middleton “reproduced” an iconic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on a royal tour that passed through Jamaica.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in the country, having left the venue on Thursday, March 24, for the Bahamas.

In one of their last engagements, William and Kate attended a military parade with members of the military who had completed their training program.

One photo shows the couple standing in a dark green Land Rover, while the Queen and her husband Prince Philip were on their visit to Kingston in November 1953.

Another curiosity highlighted by People magazine is that the car William and Kate were traded in was the same one the King used for another visit in 1962.
