Will the iPhone 16 have a new multi-function button to control the camera?

About half a year before the presentation of the new iPhone models (which should be the first to have AI capabilities from scratch), the list of rumors about the next Apple smartphones is already very extensive.

One of the latest is associated with a new button for interacting with the camera. According to the apple centerThis new control will be multifunctional, just like the action button, which the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max “copied” from the Apple Watch Ultra.

So, according to these rumors, the iPhone 16 will have a physical button that responds to the level of touch and pressure, and one of the features that we can control will be zoom.

If we move our finger to the right on this button, we will zoom in on the image; To the left, the opposite happens, i.e. miniaturization. Focusing is also possible here – in current models we have to touch the screen, although this gives us the ability to focus on the object we want.

In contrast, with this button, the entire image is in focus – to do this, simply touch this new physical control on the iPhone. To record a video, we will have to hold it down; If we want to take a photo, it's the usual thing: a click, as if we were using an actual camera.
