WhatsApp is getting more and more public. At least with respect to our data. All this due to European assumptions such as the General Data Protection Regulation (General Data Protection Regulation). WhatsApp will now have to reveal what it knows about you. This novelty has already reached the beta version of WhatsApp for desktop.
WhatsApp will reveal everything it knows about you
The functionality was initially introduced on Android and iOS to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. But note that to access it, you will have to update WhatsApp desktop to the latest beta version.
This was seen in 2.2219.3 beta but was discovered in 2.2204.1 – although it wasn’t visible at the time.
But it’s not all good news.
The WABetaInfo team has detected, in both android and iOS and Desktop Betas versions, that WhatsApp is considering creating subscriptions. This is especially for business version users. Of course they will earn. Right from the start, they can have their own link for users to start a conversation. Something like wa.me/empresa. It is undoubtedly much better and simpler than using a phone number.
It is true that companies can already create custom links for your WhatsApp. However, using the wa.me domain ensures more trust. However, account managers will be able to change the assigned name once every 90 days.
Clearer than this can not be. The image above remembers the word Premium well. That is, the name of the plan was revealed. However, it is not known if there will be changes at the time of the official release.
The paid functions will be exclusive to WhatsApp Business accounts and optional. It now remains to be seen if this will reach consumers in the future but with other additional functions.
