Violent Israeli attacks on Lebanon: buildings demolished to the ground

Israel launched 17 air strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Wednesday, according to official Lebanese media.

The National News Agency reported that six buildings were completely destroyed in the attack that occurred in the Al-Laylaki neighborhood.

The news agency refers to the attacks as the most violent in the region since the outbreak of war.

The attacks came shortly after the Israeli army's warning.

But there was no warning before the attack that struck the Jnah neighborhood south of the Lebanese capital on Wednesday. There, one person was killed and five others were injured, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He tells CNN They have no comment on Wednesday's attack in Beirut.

Since September 23, Israel has carried out intense airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after nearly a year of regular clashes in the border areas. Since then, at least 1,580 people have been killed in Israeli attacks, according to an AFP review based on Lebanese Health Ministry figures.
