The Court of First Instance sentenced both elements of the Porto structure to one year and 10 months in prison, suspended, for aggravated violation of correspondence or telecommunications and a crime against a legal entity, in the Francisco J. Marques case, while Diogo Faria was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for one year, for correspondence or telecommunications offenses.
The sentences were increased by the Lisbon Court of Appeal, which sentenced Francisco J. Marques to two years and six months in prison, suspended, while Diogo Faria saw his sentence increased to one year and five months, also suspended for the same period.
