Vera Butina is dead, according to the British newspaper The telegraph. She lived to be 96 years old. Vera took her first step into the public eye when she claimed in 1999 that she was the biological mother of Vladimir Putin (70).
Criticism praises: – Why?
In 2004, the Dutch production company Peter van Huystee Film made a documentary about Vera called “Mama Bottin”, where she told her story.
Born on September 6, 1926, in Russia, she is said to have fallen in her youth to an auto mechanic named Platon Privalov, and eventually became pregnant. However, it turned out that he was already married – and Vera feared he would steal her child to raise with his actual wife.
It is said that Vera’s son was born on October 7, 1950 – exactly two years before Putin’s official birthday. She called him “Fofa”. When she later married a soldier from Georgia, her husband insisted that Vova should leave.
Sarcasm: – It must be a joke
It is therefore alleged that Vera sent him to his parents in Russia when he was only nine years old. The following year, he is sent to an orphanage, and is later adopted by what Vera claims are Vladimir Putin’s parents from St. Petersburg.
The Russian president wrote in his book “The First Person” that he was born and raised in St. Petersburg by his mother, Maria, and his father, Vladimir. He also claimed that they both died of cancer at the end of the 1990s.
King Putin thanked
According to The Telegraph, Putin’s childhood has been difficult to verify, largely because he was pretty much the only source. The Kremlin has denied all along that Vera Putina is Putin’s mother.
Vladimir Putin did not comment on the death of Vera Putina.
