On Monday this week, a man was convicted of killing his stepdaughter Bernadette Walker in Cambridge.

He writes for many British media, among others BBC.

No one has seen Bernadette alive since July 18, 2020, and police believe she is dead, although the body has not appeared.

The girl, who was 17 when she disappeared, had told her mother that she had been sexually abused by her stepfather, but after telling her mother about the abuse, she did not get the reaction she had hoped.

you did not believe.

– I told my mother that he abused me. You called me a liar.

It appears in a note from the girl’s diary, which is now used as evidence in one against the stepfather and mother.

According to the diary notes, the mother allegedly threatened to kill her if she called the police.

The 17-year-old was just a little girl when her stepfather entered her life.

It was Bernadette’s three-year-old neighbour, who lived in the town of Wakefield, south of Leeds in the UK with his mother.

After a short time, the neighbor began an affair with Bernadette’s mother, and after the relationship with Bernadette’s mother developed rapidly, the girl immediately had a larger family.

She took her stepfather’s nickname, calling him “Dad”.

In court, the girl’s mother also admitted that she twice tried to confuse the police by sending messages from Bernadette’s mobile phone, as well as giving false information to the police about the disappearance.

The group hopes that the girl will still be alive, but she is in hiding, and that they can at least find something that can bring them closer to what happened.
