Ukraine, oil | Spill and fire in an oil pipeline in Ukraine – two children hospitalized

Six people were injured in the fire, including two children who were sent to hospital, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service said in a message on the Telegram application on Saturday evening. It is said here that the valves on the pipeline are now closed. 18 emergency services people were at the scene.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine shared photos of firefighting work. The photo, which shows thick black smoke rising into the air, spread on social media.

State Crisis Management Authority of Ukraine It is reported that a crack in the oil pipeline led to an oil leak over an area of ​​100 square metres.

This happened near the village of Stremba in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in the west of the country.

The cause of the fire was not known, but according to local media, a strong explosion was heard in the pipeline.
