“They often ask if I can have sex”

saulo Azevedo returned to the stage with the play ‘Caligula Died.’ Eu não’, at the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, between 25 June and 4 July. The news was announced Thursday morning by the actor who was present on the TVI Dois à 10 program, where he spoke with Claudio Ramos and Maria Botelho Muniz.

Paulo recalled his journey in the world of entertainment and also told some details about his personal life, always emphasizing the fact that despite his daily struggles, he was a winner in both areas: professional and personal.

The actor was born without legs and without hands, a disability that has never prevented him from pursuing his dreams and from being a father for the first time in six years.

“I was too afraid to be a father. I was afraid to fall into my lap with them,” admits Paolo, now the father of six-year-old Gustavo, and four-year-old Matilde.

Regarding the appearance of strangers, Paulo explains that he has always dealt well with curiosity and that he is the one who explains to people that everything in his life happens naturally.

“There’s still this stigma… I’m often asked this question: Can you have sex? Yes, I don’t have legs… Everything else is fine,” he says.
