Nvidia is the world’s most popular graphics card manufacturer, thanks in large part to powerful graphics cards that consumers desperately seek, both for the gaming sector and for cryptocurrency mining, such as Ethereum.
However, although the American company has announced, albeit quietly, a future version of the GeForce RTX 2060 with a capacity of 12 GB, we now know that there will be no Founders Edition versions of this graphics card.
There will be no Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 12GB Founders Edition
The official announcement of the 12GB GeForce RTX 2060 was basically just a listing on Nvidia's website. However, the American manufacturer did not provide great details about the launch of this graphics chip, although the brand indicated on December 7 as the beginning of the sale of several models.
But according to the latest information, this graphics card will not hit the market in the Founders Edition. Therefore, Nvidia has removed the Founders Edition of this model from its dedicated Nvidia RTX 2060 specifications page.
As such, since consumers are already accustomed to other equipment, it would be virtually impossible to find such a fee at the price suggested by the brand. On the other hand, no price was indicated for this GPU and it was already clear that it would vary depending on the specific model of each brand and also depending on the region in which it was purchased.
According to a press release from Nvidia:
Prices vary by model and region. This is a 6GB premium version of the GeForce RTX 2060 and we hope the price will reflect that. Please contact our AIC partners for product details and specific pricing.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 12GB card features a TU106 graphics chip, produced in a 12nm process with 2176 CUDA cores.
