Blaya Rodrigues has gone through a major physical transformation in recent months. The singer decided to bet on a balanced diet and to return to training with the aim of losing the weight she had gained while carrying the two children.
Theo, the artist’s youngest son, is currently 18 months old, and losing weight “for more than half of those months” wasn’t Playa’s priority.
“I always took everything calmly and at my own pace! No pressure or goals, and the funny thing about everything is that I have never looked in the mirror and felt so bad about being overweight’, which was highlighted on Friday, January 13, by a long outburst on the subject.
“Of course there were clothes that I didn’t feel pretty in, but I fit in and I thought I was cool. Every time I looked in the mirror I thought I saw Carla! Without noticing the weight, it was simply Carla! And one of the things that helped me was seeing my boyfriend like that,” she said, explaining the enormous importance of the relationship. At this stage.
“He always looked at me with a huge horn! No matter the weight. I always knew how to take advantage of all phases of my body. I’ve never seen or felt a disapproving look,” he asserted, acknowledging that insecurities came from his part.
“You know how women are, sometimes we have those undies! And there were times when I felt like he didn’t find me attractive.! But I insisted, saying: “Look, I want you to tell me more about this or that.” He said it clearly. Having someone on our side who helps us emotionally with regards to our body makes everything so much easier, he explained.
Finally, Playa wanted to reinforce his advice to all couples: “If you miss out on compliments, talk to your partner. Without dialogue, you’re not going anywhere.”
