There was one more thing after all: Oppo announced Find X5 Pro with Mediatek Dimensity 9000

Yesterday was a very busy day for Oppo, focusing on the launch of the amazing Find X5 family Oppo Find X5 ProAnd the Oppo Find X5 and X5 Lite. If the Oppo Find X5 Pro is a powerful device, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MariSilicon X NPU, there’s room for a processor that could be even more powerful, in the form of the Mediatek 9000.

Oppo now confirms that the Oppo Find X5 Pro is equipped with a Mediatek processor, and the characteristics are mostly identical to those of the Snapdragon equipment, but with significant differences. Specifically, the Opo Find X5 Pro in its Mediatek version does not have MariSilicon X, and the Hasselblad brand is disappearing, along with the color calibration of the popular photographic brand, so it will be an interesting point to understand how this will affect the quality of the photos. 5-axis optical image stabilization will also be absent.

For the rest, the device keeps the specifications of the Snapdragon version with the same screen and cameras. The Oppo Find X5 Pro goes on sale in China on March 14th and there is no certainty that it will be sold in other markets or at what price, but at the moment it appears to be a bit cheaper than the Snapdragon version.
