There is already a stadium for the 2026 Champions League final

a UEFA announced, in a statement issued via official platforms early this afternoon, Wednesday, that the Puskas Arena, in Budapest, Hungary, will host the Champions League final in 2026.

The body that governs football in the Old Continent also announced that the final of the 2025/26 edition of the Europa League will be held at Besiktas Park, in Istanbul, Turkey, while the following season's final will be held at Frankfurt Stadium, in Germany. However, the news did not stop there.

It was also announced that the Red Bull Arena, in Leipzig, Germany, will be the “home” of the Europa League final, in 2026. After that, it will “pass the baton” to Besiktas Park, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Finally, the UEFA Women's Champions League will be held at the Olivall Stadium, in Oslo, Norway, in 2026, exactly one year after it was held at the José Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon, Portugal.
