There are already prices and dates for HBO Max arriving in Europe (but Portugal will have to wait) – Telecommunications

WarnerMedia has already announced the dates and pricing for the new HBO Max streaming service that’s about to hit Europe. according to The Hollywood ReporterAccording to the entertainment company’s executives, six countries in Europe will be able to see the renewed service on October 26.

Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Andorra will be the first European countries to have access to HBO Max. The move to HBO Max was already announced in several markets, in November last year, by WarnerMedia Group General Manager, Andy Forsell, following its launch in the US in May 2020.

Portugal, the Netherlands and Greece are on the list of countries that still have to wait for change, which should only happen next year, according to Christina Solebak, general manager of HBO Max Europe, Middle East and Africa. “It will be a game changer for the fans,” the newspaper quoted Salibak as saying.

As for the terms and costs of the subscription, the official has ensured that they will be “attractive prices with the introduction of a new annual subscription that gives access to 12 months at the price of eight, which represents a saving of more than 30% and a reduction in the monthly cost of about 5.99 euros in Spain and Finland”.

Customers in Spain currently pay €8.99 per month for the HBO streaming service. In Portugal, the service, which includes exclusives from North American HBO, costs 4.99 euros per month, with a catalog of 5,500 episodes of series, movies and documentaries.
