The Ukrainian news media RBC recently published 52-minute interview With the head of the Ukrainian secret service, Kirillo Budanov.

Details create speculation

According to Budanov, the Ukrainians succeeded in instilling fear in Russia.

In Moscow, it has been noted, among other things, that air defense is being strengthened and that many bunkers from the Cold War are now being renovated.

One detail in particular from the intelligence chief’s office during the interview led to further speculation.

During the interview, the camera is at some point away from Budanov and toward the reporter. In the background you can see a flat screen with a map image in the background.

Although the image is not clear, you can clearly see that the road network matches the map of Moscow.

Military parade can be attacked

It is not clear in the interview why there was a map of Moscow in Budanov’s office, but at the same time as the interview was conducted, Russian media reported that a Ukrainian drone had been shot down outside the Russian capital.
