Last week, the United States stopped delivering 900-kilogram bombs to Israel CNN.

– Civilians were killed in Gaza as a result of these bombs, and in other ways in which population centers are being pursued, says President Joe Biden in an interview with the channel on Thursday night, Norwegian time.

The reason the United States is blocking arms shipments to Israel is concern about a full ground invasion of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

And now Biden has a message for his Israeli allies: The United States will not send weapons to Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders a ground invasion.

– I made it clear that if they enter Rafah, they have not entered yet, but if they enter Rafah, I will not give them the weapons that were used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities and that problem, he says.

It penetrated into Rafah

Despite the fact that, according to Biden, Israel did not begin the ground invasion, Israeli tanks rolled into the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night.

The US President says this causes problems in the region.

– They did not enter population centers. What they did was right on the border. Biden says that causes problems with Egypt, which has worked hard to make sure we have a relationship with it.

Some 1.5 million Palestinians have been internally displaced to Rafah since the war began, and the area has previously been described as one of the safest places in Gaza.

– I explained to baby And the War Cabinet: They will not get our support if they enter these population centers.

However, the United States will not stop all arms shipments to Israel – even if it launches a full ground invasion of Rafah.

We will continue to make sure that Israel is safe when it comes to Iron Dome and its ability to defend itself against the attacks that have recently come from the Middle East, but this is a mistake. We will not send them weapons and artillery shells,” Biden tells CNN.
