Zome closed the first half of this year with a turnover of 308.1 million euros. In a statement released on Wednesday, July 14, the Portuguese real estate agent indicated that this figure represents a 29% increase over the same period in 2020.
In the first six months of the year, 2,615 transactions were carried out, equivalent to a turnover of 10.5 million euros, which resulted in an almost 50% increase in the individual productivity of broker advisors.
In the period under review, the number of executed transactions increased by 35%, while billing grew by 33%. Zome has more than 1,200 employees, spread over 22 Iberian centers, 19 of which operate in Portugal, compared to 15 in the same period last year, and the company is preparing to open three more centers in the coming months.
Patricia Santos, CEO of Zome, says the company “followed its growth strategy in 2021. The premium position in the market, in the first six months of this year, allowed more than 2,600 transactions to be executed, or an average of 14 transactions per day.” This was Zome’s best start to the year since its inception.”
The official also highlights that “Despite all the problems caused by the health crisis, Zome has managed to continue to grow and establish itself in the real estate brokerage sector. These figures for the first half of the year are a reflection of that, which provides the company with good conditions to achieve the very set goals 27 million euros in bills, 52 centers at the Iberian level and about 1,500 employees.”
