The tumor changes the outlook on life

Last October, Isabel Figuera received the biggest shock of her life, when she discovered that she had a tumor in one of her ovaries. During the period of uncertainty, the actress and presenter lived in a state of distress, as she cried every day because of her anxiety.

She underwent surgery, and after analysis it was found that the tumor was benign. This good news excited her so much that Isabel Figuera decided to share her joy, throwing a party at home with 50 friends together and her boyfriend Luis Santos.

Now, nearly two months after the operation, the artist admits that she sees life differently. “Every day has a completely different flavour. I think that when we have a health scare, we start to see things and life in a different way,” he told JN, on the sidelines of the TVI and firefighters’ initiative “Natal a Meias”.

He added: “After I discovered that the tumor was benign, my care became much greater. I take care of myself more, listen to myself much more, and live more carefully.”

Isabel Figuera stated that she is no longer concerned only about her body. “I always have a word to say to those around me. I say: ‘If you don’t find ways to take care of your health, I will help you make an appointment with the doctor and I will follow up with you.’” Thank God, things have gone well for me, but I wouldn’t wish this fear on anyone!

Family harmony

In the desperate days of October, the translator received support from her parents and children, as well as from the man she loves, Luis Santos, the son of former national coach Fernando Santos.

“I have had the support of the Lewis family (they are very close), always having a hug there when I need it, and with them my family has grown. There is absolutely incredible harmony, I have a wonderful family, and my parents get along very well. The security of the family has grown.” .

With a difficult year ahead, Isabel Figuera confirms, one month before Christmas, that she has already received all the “gifts” she wanted: “Now I am recording the TV series ‘Cacao’, I have an amazing figure, so there the end of the year could not be better.” “It was a good gift.” He leaves a request: “What I want is health. I hope there will be many birthdays to come and there will be health for the whole family.”
