With the participation of hundreds of people representing companies and institutions, the meeting took place this Thursday morning, March 9, at the Centro de Eventos Cidade dos Lagos.

In a meeting attended by hundreds of people, institutions and companies in the city, on the morning of Thursday, March 9, the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SCT & I) in Guarapuava promoted a meeting to talk about actions that would in 2023. Projects were launched in the Centro de Eventos Cidade dos Lagos and started at 8:30 am.

There is no way to think about the development of a municipality without taking technology into consideration. We live in a time when everything is very fast and it is always necessary to study in order not to fall behind. Investing in technology and innovation is a process that should be natural and of quality. That’s what we’ve been doing in Guarapuava. And for years to come, let’s do so much moreMayor Celso Joyce confirmed, through a note.

As the Secretary of Pasta, Sávio Denardi, said, this moment is of paramount importance for the municipality, as it is increasingly being included in the technology and innovation scenario at the state, federal and even international levels. The aim of our General Secretariat is to coordinate and implement municipal science, technology and innovation policy. With this, we bring together all the actors and try to understand their needs and dynamics, so that we can empower them, always in harmony with the community. Only then will we be able to understand the status of each project, as resources are scarce and we have to be firm so that we can use this amount responsibly,” Savio noted.

During the event, the secretary also spoke about the importance of the role of the General Secretariat with the community in these ten years of work. He reiterates that every year, improvements and attention are needed in preparing plans and procedures, so that the work returns to the benefits for the society. Our role is to spread the culture of innovation, so that it permeates the parties and reaches the parties, and in this way it becomes accessible to all. However, achieving the goals of the Science, Technology and Innovation Secretariat does not happen overnight. Things need to be strengthened in the areas of strategic and sustainable development. Therefore, I say that the movement needs to be thought out and organized. “We have a ten-year timetable for projects and programs that were self-sustaining and open the way for others to work and have meaning in the municipality,” the secretary said.

Sávio recalls that there were 13 entities that participated in the start of the Science, Technology and Innovation Forum in Guarapuava. Most of them, he points out, were from private companies, with the active participation of SEBRAE. He currently notes that 50 entities are part of a group that will only tend to grow in the coming years, given the importance that technology has on the global stage. “We have noticed an evolution and maturity when it comes to scientific and technological development. “We had to step up as leaders, so that we could have this collective understanding of the situation and action that needed to be developed urgently and that would benefit everyone,” Dinardi concluded.

The director of SEBRAE in Guarapuava, Agenor Felipe Krysa, said that the partnership with the municipality has given satisfactory results and added that during 2023, many other measures will be developed, always focusing on the population who, every day, needs new technologies to solve problems and improve the quality of life. “It is always a pleasure for me to participate in this development process in Guarapuava. When we started this work within the Secretariat for Science, Technology and Innovation, it should be noted that it was a project carried out by several hands. Still in the political campaign, it was commented that the[Science and Technology]Forum should propose something For candidates to have within the agenda that will take into account the economic development of Guarapuava from the economy, based on knowledge. This is the great motto. Knowledge is the most valuable raw material that exists in society. This is a different economic model, “felipe mused.

The establishment of the Municipal Technology and Innovation Fund is of paramount importance to the development of the municipality, as stipulated by SCT&I. To this end, the Director of SEBRAE explains that this is a resource that should not be subject to reimbursement or refund after a certain period of time. The entrepreneur, after reaching values through projects, will be able to develop his business more easily and ensure that he will be able to complete all the steps without worrying about finances. “Companies that need resources to develop their projects will be able to access the values. We all know that innovation is a risky investment. The Innovation Fund will promote this. The company will present its project and from there it can raise money through support. It is not a financing or a loan. It is a resource It can be used to develop ideas,” Felipe confirmed.

sandbox

OAB Guarapuava President Maria Cecília Saldanha and OAB Intellectual Property Director Cláudia Crisostimo spoke about the regulatory sandbox, which aims to provide a temporary license so already established companies can test their businesses in the city with looser rules, less bureaucracy and lower costs.

“We, from OAB, actively participated in the Science and Technology Forum, and from there, a demand arose on the need for legislation dealing with SandBox. The goals of OAB are active participation in society. All this should revolve around our region, which is technical and legal knowledge. When the demand arose On the need to create this legislation, a group was set up that devoted itself, within the framework of voluntary work, to studies and surveys so that it would be possible to collaborate with a draft piece of legislation, from a legal point of view “, Maria Cecilia highlighted.

Claudia, in turn, said that SandBox is of great importance to society, as it contributes directly to the development of the city, ignoring bureaucracy. He also reiterates, through this legislation, the government can contract, temporarily, with companies that provide technology services to the city. “This is one of the biggest developments when it comes to legislation and technology. Few municipalities in the state have this legislation and Guarapuava among them. With this, we assume progress and innovation as technological risks for our region. Now, we can dream more, because this legislation involves all areas of society in Guarapuava”, highlighted Claudia.

health

During the event, Guarapuava Health Minister Chayane Andrade spoke about Project SARA, a robot that was deployed during the coronavirus pandemic and has been responsible for shortening queues and saving countless lives in the municipality.

“When the SARA robot was deployed, we were going through a very difficult time of the pandemic and we had to re-learn in all sectors. In health, it was no different. SARA was a very important support, because it represents a paradigm shift. The robot will have a new look and the technology will serve other health requirements. Our servers are undergoing training to see what the dynamics will be like and their applicability to other needs. The user will be able to do remote consultation at home. So, instead of having 33 units of health, we will have 34 units, because the robot, in By itself, it is a complete unit,” Sheyan explained.

SARA is a virtual assistant that uses artificial intelligence resources to examine and monitor patients. We have had this technology resource since 2022. Since then, we have determined that this technology can help us at that time, ”said Moema França, an innovation consultant and one of those responsible for implementing the system.

education

For the Minister of Education of Guarapuava, Pablo Almeida, events of this type are essential for the development of the municipality, because they clearly depict transformation and evolution, especially in an area as necessary as education.

“When my team and I took over as Secretary of Education, in January 2021, the scenario we had in terms of integrating the whole (education) network — and I’m talking about a network of a third of the city involved — we had no tool that would allow us to talk to all the agents concerned. Immediately, we started the systematic work. Today, with just one click, we can talk to the entire education network and understand what is happening, such as monitoring school transportation. Today, we in the Education Department and the student’s parent, through the application, are able to monitor the whereabouts of the child in The city and know how the transfer is. Also in 2021 we started the process of acquiring technological equipment. It all added to the quality of our teaching. In addition to spreading technology, we provided tools so that these digital resources can be used. Since last year, children learn mathematics from During gamification This system earned us an award from Microsoft, in São Paulo, at the end of last year and it has been extended to Portuguese, as well as Guará Kids, which teaches English through technology, ”explained Pablo.
