Through the Aracaju Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Innovation (Semde), the City of Aracaju will hold the first meeting of the Municipal Council for Science, Technology and Information (CMCTI) next Monday, the 30th, at 9 a.m., in the hall of the Hotel del Mar, in Orla da Atalaia. The collective body will work with the aim of promoting the economy, industry, trade, technology, communication and innovation of the capital, Sergipe.
“The Council will be an instrument to provide security to all companies in the advocacy, technology, science and information sectors. Through this initiative, Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe, will have an unprecedented government policy regarding these sectors, providing investors with the security needed to invest in the city for the coming decades,” It also highlights Semde’s director, Victor Rohlberg.
The Municipal Science, Technology and Information Council is composed of 13 advisors, including representatives of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), the University of Tiradentes (Unity), Sebrae, Fecomércio, Sinformática, the Association of Sergipe Startups (ASES) and the municipal economic secretariats. Development and Innovation (Semde), Finance (Semfaz), Health (SMS), Planning, Budgeting and Management (Seplog), Education (Semed), Infrastructure (Seminfra) and Government (Segov).
