A selection of food products for Christmas dinner could cost Portuguese households €79.93, €5.01 more than they did three months ago, representing a 6.69% increase, reveals a QuantoCosta analysis of the prices of 20 supermarket products, such as cod. The Portuguese may be 'accustomed' to seeing prices rise every month, but it is essential that they continue to be very careful about the products and prices they choose,” warns Andre Duarte, Commercial Director at KuantoKusta.

For the aforementioned basket, 2 kg of large cod from Norway, 2 kg of turkey legs, 2 loaves of bread from Mafra, 2 kg of Savoie cabbage, 3 kg of new white potatoes, 1.5 kg of onions, chickpeas, Carolino rice were selected. . Eggs, extra virgin olive oil, cooking oil, butter, white wine, red wine, orange juice, semi-skimmed milk, white sugar, flour, chocolate and baking powder.
