Through the Undersecretariat, the city council invested, last year, about R$1 million in programs aimed at promoting science and technology in the municipality
On the School Day, which is celebrated today throughout Brazil, the Undersecretariat for Science and Technology, associated with the Municipal Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology (Seduct) presented the main programs and services offered in the Municipal Education Network, during the modernization course in School Management . The second day of the event took place on Wednesday (15) at the Teatro Municipal Trianon, and about 500 directors and deputy directors were directly and democratically elected to serve from March 2023 to March 2025.
Undersecretary Susana Da Hora introduced the directors and coordinators, along with representatives from each sector. Also participating in the meeting were Director of Digital Media, Wellington Rangel, and Director of Corporate Relations, Ludmila Da Matta; Digital Technologies and Media Lab Coordinator, Ana Karina Vieira; the School’s More Science Program Coordinator, Carla Sales; More Science Program Coordinator, Leonora Tinoco; Coordinator of the Municipal Teacher Training School (Efem), Talita Ernesto; and IT Supervisor Moloise Assis.
Through the Undersecretariat, the City Council invested, last year, about R$1 million in programs aimed at promoting science and technology in the municipality, such as More Science, More Science in School, Startup Campos and the Creative Economy. More than a hundred projects and about 200 students have been approved, in addition to the four programs that will continue in 2023.
“These programs are very important for our society. Among them we encourage students and professionals to seek their place in the local and regional productive ranking. This investment reflects, for the time being, direct money in the family, allowing students to devote themselves to science and technology. The main reflection will be in the future with Products created by these public notices, which are provided to the community and generate income for their authors, as Susanna highlighted.
