The Municipality of President Prudente, through the Municipal Health Department, announces the balance relating to the 2023 multiple vaccination campaign, in which 10,186 young people participated, of whom 3,818 received the vaccines and the rest have their vaccination card up to date. A total of 7,714 doses were administered.
The data refers to the period from the beginning of the campaign on October 1st until Monday (11/13). It is worth noting that the campaign will end tomorrow, November 14.
As reported by the Municipal Health Department, in the age group of 9 to 14 years, 2,585 adolescents attended clinics and 1,234 needed to take an overdue vaccine.
In the 5- to 8-year-old age group, 2,870 people attended and 169 received doses. In the 1- to 4-year-old age group, 2,604 people attended and 843 received doses. In the age group from 0 to 1 year, 2,127 people attended the clinics, of whom 1,572 received the doses.
The state is implementing a multiple vaccination campaign with the participation of municipalities. In Prudente, a “Victory Day” for state mobilization was organized in nine vaccination centres, on 7 October.
The measure aims to expand the vaccination status update of children and adolescents under 15 years of age, according to indications in the government’s vaccination calendar.
Last week, to encourage teen participation, a prize draw was held. Winners who filled out the coupons and the drawing took place, and throughout this week attend VEM to receive the gifts.
