The RISC (Smart Grids and Creative Solutions) project, developed by the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat), will receive resources from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), to implement a unit in the north of the country and that is a technology demonstration function.
Approved by the Minister of the Ministry, Paulo Alvim, on Tuesday afternoon (24.05), in Cuiabá, where he participated in the event “Agro: Technologies and Space Applications”, promoted by the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB), in partnership with the Secretary of Science and Technology and innovation in Mato Grosso (Seciteci).
With the expansion of RISC, the idea is to create alternatives to innovative projects, from a matrix capable of uniting science, technology and professional qualifications. The project operates exclusively with the participation of young people, who are encouraged to produce technology, with low production and consumption costs within the country.
In a conversation with the Coordinator of the Mato Grosso Technological Park, Ruggero Nunes, represented at the event of Secretary Mauricio Munhos, on a technical mission to Nebraska (USA), Minister Paulo Alvim made the MCTI available to explore the feasibility of the arrangements, through which the flag would be popularized in the state.
“It is in the full interest of the Federal Government to coordinate collective construction with Mato Grosso for the popularization of science. I am available, as with the entire team, to receive members from the state, and together we can design partnership possibilities within the suite of MCTI services and procedures.”
