Health workers participated in lectures on vaccination coverage, basic nursing techniques, vaccination schedule, vaccine application techniques, practical errors, and reception, among others.

According to the Minister of Health, Milton Ripoli, the aim of the measure was to rehabilitate the service in the vaccination rooms, to recycle old immunizers and to train new professionals who were recently appointed.

Last Friday, both the staff who gave the lectures and the staff who participated as students received a certificate at the end of the course.

Nurse Carla Andrade, who works at UBS Meirelles and was present at the event, highlights that the training was of great value, as they introduced key topics and methods, “from cleaning the vaccine room, knowing immunobiology, welcoming users and good practices, which will definitely make a big difference.” into everyday life within UBSs, providing additional security and updates for health professionals.”
