The names of the athletes or the sport they represent have not been released
Australian athletes broke the beds into the rooms in the Olympic Village and punched a hole in the wall. All this before they leave Tokyo, confirmed this Tuesday by the Australian Olympic Committee. Furthermore, the officials added, some of the athletes exhibited “unacceptable behaviour” on the return trip.
In light of all this, the head of the Australian Olympic delegation, Ian Chesterman, stated that the athletes have apologized, and for this reason no disciplinary action will be taken. Adding that the damage was “minor” and that it wasn’t “the hardest thing in the world to break a cardboard bed.” The famous “anti-sexist” family, the gaming organization declared.
The names of the athletes or the athletes they represent have not been released, but the Australian Olympic Committee said national football and rugby bodies were investigating reports of disorderly conduct on a flight to Sydney last Friday.
Ian Chesterman said, “Some young men made mistakes, leaving the apartments in unacceptable condition. The rooms were not completely destroyed by any means.”
