The death cult around Russian soldiers keeps the war going. But there is something very wrong with hero stories.

Russian soldiers pass through the city of Mariupol. The city was razed to the ground when the Russians attacked it.

Back home in Russia, the major was hailed as a super soldier. It is said that he committed great heroic deeds.

Family and friends heard that he rescued civilians and soldiers and killed many Nazis.

Why don’t more Russians react to astronomical losses? To continue the war, new legends are being created about Russian super soldiers. Behind lies an ancient death cult.

Back home in Russia, he was hailed as a super soldier.

“For four days, Major Konakov repelled the superior enemy forces,” wrote the Kremlin newspaper Rg.ru.

In occupied Mariupol, whose battalion helped level the land, the road will be named after the major.
