The State Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (SEE) is accepting registrations for the ninth edition of the Viver Ciência, the theme of which will be innovation, technology and sustainability for the future.
Registration is available until September 30 at: www.mostraviverciencia.com.
Students and teachers from all levels of basic education, as well as higher education, both public and private, have the opportunity to participate in the selection of projects.
The ninth edition of Viver Ciência is being prepared on December 13 and 14 at the Exhibition Park in Rio Branco. The event aims to stimulate interest in research and investigation, and present a diverse program that includes fun and creative activities that captivate children, youth and adults with science and technology, and attract families and society in general.
The theme: Innovation, Technology and Sustainability for the Future, promotes studies, discussions and reflections on our actions in society, our development throughout history and the importance of innovation, technology and sustainability in environmental, economic and social development. Topics such as water, transportation, housing, energy and food will be discussed in search of solutions for a better world.
“The idea is to receive work from schools so that they can submit their best work as a research project. Registration is open since August 30 and continues until September 30. “The aim is for students to develop the habit of researching, planning and investigating their own knowledge,” said Iris Bergentino, Head of Innovative Practices. .
Main activities include screenings of scientific films and documentaries, interactive activities for children, an exhibition of scientific works, exhibitions related to the universe, virtual reality experiences, interactive games with scientific concepts, short courses, lectures, workshops, exploring the universe and much more.
The exhibition will be held in the capital in December, but the interior received copies of the traveling exhibition that toured the cities of Placido de Castro, Brasilia, Sina Madureira and Vigo.
