– The car was inside the house and the patient was trapped, says Operations Director, Ronnie Atigen Andersen, in the Agder police district.
He said it was difficult at first to get the man out of the car.
– An ambulance was at the scene and with the help of those present, the patient was transferred from the car to the ambulance, says the operations manager.
The car was said to have veered off the road and continued over a field and crashed into a house.
The man is now on his way to the hospital.
He will be driven some distance before being taken to an air ambulance and flown to the hospital, says the operations manager.

People were at home
The driver was alone in the car conscious.
The patient was awake and able to speak and reported pain, says Aateigen Andersen.
Otherwise, the extent of the damage is unknown.
There must have been people in the house when the car crashed. No injuries were reported other than the driver.
Police are questioning those present and securing clues at the scene.
– Now we are collecting the information we can and then we will investigate the case further, says Aateigen Andersen.
And the police wrote on Twitter, that the driver’s license was temporarily seized, and a blood sample will be taken from him.
