A nine-year-old child was killed on Wednesday in a traffic accident.

It had to be revived
It was around 18:00 local time, when the nine-year-old was on a bike ride with his father in central Robina, Australia.
The boy was sitting on the back of his father's electric bike when a car hit them from the side.
Rat alarm on planes: creates fear
All emergency services attended the scene immediately, and the father and son were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious injuries.
According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson, the boy had to be resuscitated at the scene.
– Heartbreaking
The driver, a man in his late forties, was also taken to hospital. According to local media, his condition is “stable.”
However, the nine-year-old's life could not be saved. The little boy died in hospital on Thursday.
The boy's father remains in hospital. His health condition is unknown.
Queensland Police spokesman Scott Knowles said in a statement on Thursday that the entire local community was saddened by the news:

– This is a great tragedy. The boy was on a bike trip with his father when things went wrong. It's heartbreaking.
It is still unclear what caused the fatal accident. Knowles told The News that the case is under investigation, and stated that they have been in contact with several witnesses.
