Porto, January 24, 2017: In the noble Clérigos area, a restaurant space for the North American Steak'n Shake chain has been opened, with an investment of more than one million euros by Premium Burger – Restaurantes, the company name of a company made up of four Portuguese who were left with the exclusive rights to the chain in Portugal.
The Steak'n Shake Porto building has become an icon of the city because it houses, up until then, the largest public work by artist Jorna Vasconcelos: a mural measuring nearly 20 metres in length, comprising eight thousand hand-painted tiles, covering the facade of the property.

“This new Taco Bell restaurant has been thought out in detail, taking advantage of the exclusive location, occupying a two-floor space, with a total of 90 seats and a terrace, allowing access from Praça Guilherme Gomes Fernandes and Rua Sá de Noronha,” highlights the Ebersol company in a statement.
With this opening, the Ebersol Group now operates a total of 24 Taco Bell restaurants in Portugal: eight in Greater Lisbon, six in Greater Porto, three in the Algarve, two in Braga, and also has a restaurant in each of these cities – Vila Real, Aveiro, Coimbra, Funchal and Ponta Delgada.
