“Squid Game”: The series creator lost six teeth during filming

“Squid Game” is the most popular series right now and could break all Netflix records very soon. Despite the success, South Korean production creator Hwang Dong-hyuk heard several “nos” before getting the green light from the studios to move forward with his idea.

After his series was approved, recordings were also a new and big challenge. In an interview with CNNHwang Dong-hyuk revealed that he lost six teeth during filming due to the stress he was feeling.

“Writing, producing and directing a series on my own was a complicated task. When I think about doing the same for a second season I worry. Nothing is certain at the moment, but with so many people excited about the project, I’m thinking about it,” the series creator confirmed.
