Singer Claudisabel passed away early Monday after a car accident. He was 40 years old.
Claudia is Victim of a collision between two passenger cars on the A2, which occurred this morning near Alcácer do Sal, In the Setubal district, sources from the fire department and its publishing house revealed.
Alcácer do Sal’s mixed firefighter commander, Valdemar Gonçalves, confirms to Lusa that the fatal victim of the accident is Claudisabel, the stage name of Claudia Isabel Liria Madera.

Speaking to Lusa, the chief of the fire department stressed that the car the singer was traveling in overturned after the collision and that the rescue operations involved doing “advanced rescue and recovery work”.
The death of the singer was declared immediately by the doctor from the Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) of the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano, in Santiago do Cacem, he said, indicating that the body was transferred to the morgue of this unit of the hospital.
In this accident that kills Claudisabel, there is also a slight injury.
A source from Setubal District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) told Lusa that the alert was sounded at 01:55, with the accident occurring at kilometer 85 of the A2 road.
Rescue operations mobilized 12 vehicles and 24 operational personnel, with the intervention of the Alcácer do Sal firefighters, the VMER from the Hospital do Litoral Alentejano, Brisa and the GNR.

The singer Emmanuel was on Sunday with Claudisabel on the mobile stage “Domingau”, on the SIC, in Castanheira de Pera, and he remembers the moments he spent with the singer. “I danced with her just yesterday, played with her.
