It was in 1993 when Gil Schwed entered history as the father of the modern firewall, which filters traffic from networks and computers on the Internet. A lot of this stuff doesn’t come through firewalls… As a cyber security brand, we try to deal with these kinds of things, and we don’t shy away from responsibility. Interception is generally not done through a firewall, but rather by installing software on a computer or mobile phone to intercept communications. A firewall can help in some of these cases, as this program will try to communicate with other programs that control it (which are somewhere on the Internet) and the firewall can detect and interrupt this communication. We have systems that run and monitor traffic on known vulnerabilities. When we detect malicious activity, we block it.
