Recently, WWE has partnered with other companies so that certain talents can fight outside of their “home country,” as was the case with TNA's Jordynne Grace at the Royal Rumble, or Charlie Dempsey who fought in AJPW.
At the Vengeance Day promotional media call on Sunday, Shawn Michaels was asked about the possibility of talent from other companies being able to fight in NXT, and expressed interest.
Well, look, I will say this, it's one of the things that weakens the Hunter friendship [Triple H] And it's hard for me to balance it, because I always saw her from afar and always wondered if she was… [Jordynne Grace] He would be interested in coming to NXT or WWE.
It's my fault for never reaching out, because I assume if I'm at another company that's not allowed, right? [risos] It was nice to see that door open and I don't know, thinking about it.
So, yeah, to answer your question, I think some of the things that we may have never been allowed to consider or consider in the past are at least something that we can start to look at and think about in the future.
I'm very excited about that because, again, these are things I don't understand at a company level. Very excited about this possibility.
From your point of view, just the strength – look, there's a lot of different talent, in different places like TNA, in Japan, in AAA, things like that, where it would be great to get some of these really experienced guys, to spend a little bit for NXT. .
But again, it's above my pay grade to answer, but I'll tell you what, I'm really interested in the possibilities and it definitely seems like – every time I get upset with Hunter, I'm like, “Ah, it's okay for you, but it's not okay for us?”
This is not really a corner Company, but I try to use it whenever I can to see if I can get something done here. It's something I'll be asking about in the not too distant future.
Who do you hope will appear in NXT?
