Nearly 1,000 wheels of cheese have disappeared, including Hafod's organic Welsh cheddar, Westcombe cheese and pitchfork cheese.
– We are devastated. There is a lot of work behind the cheese, which has been stored for 12 to 18 months. Westcombe Dairy manager Tom Claver told AP News that it was a terrible thing to steal.
On Sunday, the cheeses had not yet arrived, but influential forces had signed on to the case.
Over the weekend, the famous British chef Jamie Oliver participated in the search for the stolen cheese.
Oliver took to Instagram to ask for help solving the mystery surrounding the 'big cheese heist'.
– If someone hears something about luxury cheese being sold for cheap, it's probably something that's muffled, Oliver says in an Instagram video.
Meanwhile, the chef says he doesn't understand what the thief intends to do with all the cheddar cheese.
Neal's Yard Dairy has asked international cheese merchants to look out for stolen cheese, particularly in 10 and 24kg blocks.

– Remember, if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!
Detectives from Scotland Yard and international authorities are now searching for the culprits behind the 'Great Cheese Heist'.
