The Kamburić Health Department, through the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance (DVE), is carrying out several measures to combat dengue in the municipality. On Saturday, the 22nd, agents of the endemic diseases of Kamburić cleaned and applied smoke at strategic points in the center as well as in the central cemetery of Kamburić. The procedure included checking and eliminating mosquito infestations. During the 38th International Conference of Good Missionaries Missions at the last minute, the measures that are being implemented throughout the year to prevent the spread of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in the municipality will be intensified.
“We are aware of the dengue fever situation in our state and we are focused and committed so that we can reduce the outbreak and the pollution rate in the municipality. We are working on several fronts, focusing on educating the population and also on cleaning and fogging at strategic points,” specifies Minister of Health, Elissama de fritas.
Starting Wednesday, 26, when a new shipment of products arrives, Health will intensify anti-dengue measures. A new application will be submitted at the center and at other scheduled locations that have experienced a positive dengue outbreak. Fludora, an adult specific pesticide for strategic points, which is resistant in the environment will be applied for 60 days. Also, starting on Wednesday, DVE will carry out disinfection of all buses that will be allocated in the official parking lot of Congress Gideons.

Symptoms of the disease:
Symptoms of dengue are: fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, and retroorbital pain. Nausea, vomiting, and red spots on the skin may also occur. In some people, the disease can develop into severe forms, with catarrhal manifestations. Persons who have been, in the last 14 days, in a city with Aedes aegypti or with dengue transmission and display the listed symptoms should request a health unit for assessment.
