The Kamburić Health Department, through the Department of Epidemiological Surveillance (DVE), is carrying out several measures to combat dengue in the municipality. On Saturday, the 22nd, agents of the endemic diseases of Kamburić cleaned and applied smoke at strategic points in the center as well as in the central cemetery of Kamburić. The procedure included checking and eliminating mosquito infestations. Symptoms of dengue are: fever, headache, myalgia, arthralgia, and retroorbital pain. Nausea, vomiting, and red spots on the skin may also occur. Persons who have been, in the last 14 days, in a city with Aedes aegypti or with dengue transmission and display the listed symptoms should request a health unit for assessment.
