Santa Clara accuses Rabo de Peixe of further attacking attempts at the end of the match – Santa Clara

Santa Clara responded to Rabo De Peixe’s statement regarding the assaults that occurred in the youth match between the two clubs, in which two players from the home team were sent off for assaulting a Reds athlete from Ponta Delgada. The Santa Clara administration says it reacted with “astonishment” when it saw that Rabo de Peixe intended to “turn the preventive measure into a provocative act,” referring to his appearance at her opponent’s home accompanied by private security guards. The rival second division club is accused of not mentioning other attempts at aggression. “At the end of the match, one of the athletes from the CDRP junior team – also a former Santa Clara athlete – accompanied by his father and two other members chased, threatened and tried to attack our coach Luis Gamboa, who was with their team. The daughter of a minor,” the statement read. Fortunately, the latter was able to escape to the Santa Clara team bus in time.”

“Despite some attacks and injuries of which they were the target, the above-mentioned private security agents always had a passive attitude, in order to try to calm the nerves and, of course, ensure the safety of the entire Santa Clara entourage,” the club continues. This negates the fact that Rabo De Becce “did not show any interest or interest in the health condition of the athlete who needed hospital treatment.”
