Samsung’s new processor could revolutionize the smartphone market

Every year we see several new SOCs coming to the smartphone market, from Qualcomm, Mediatek, Apple or any other company, we see that new processors are faster than their predecessors, but in an area where development tends to be very small, on the GPU (part graphics).

And that’s where Samsung’s new processor will make the difference. The second is the reveal, the new Exynos 2200, will arrive with a GPU Based on RDNA structure 2Give AMD, which is the same used in GPUs, for example, PlayStation 5 It is the Xbox series.

If we take into account the latest information, the Exynos 2200’s peak performance will improve by 31-34% compared to its predecessor, while the sustainable performance will increase by 17-20%. Please note that these numbers are based on pre-release hardware and software and may vary slightly in the final product.

Exynos 2200 will arrive with a GPU based on the RDNA 2 architecture

It’s hard to say what the Exynos 2200 GPU will look like when compared to the Adreno that will be in the new Snapdragon 898. Exynos is expected to be significantly improved compared to the Snapdragon 888 processor, but we still don’t have reliable data to compare with the performance of the Snapdragon 898.

AMD’s GPU will offer some unique features like Ray Tracing so raw performance doesn’t tell the whole story. Ray Tracing is now standard in high-end PC and console games, allowing game developers to gain a lot of experience with it.
