Before the start of CES 2023, Samsung officially unveiled its new Galaxy A14 5G smartphone.
The model has now been launched in the USA, but it will also arrive in Europe. With the arrival due in April, the European variant will have a “little big” difference.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G arrives in Europe in April at a price of 229 euros
Right before CES 2023 kicks off, Samsung has unveiled its latest affordable smartphone. This is the Galaxy A14 5G that has just been launched in the North American market, but will also cross the Atlantic Ocean and arrive in Europe in April.
This is another affordable bet of the brand on the Galaxy A series which, precisely because of its “wallet-friendly” prices, has been very successful among users. The Galaxy A series, by the way, is currently one of the most relevant sources of revenue for the South Korean giant, which is why the brand has been focusing on launching models in this family.
And the new Galaxy A14 5G will be no exception to the rule. Apparently, when it hits the European market in April, it will be available at a cost of 229 euros. In other words, for less than 300 euros, users will have not only 5G connections, but also the latest Google operating system. But let’s get down to the technical details.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G specifications
The European model is expected to have the same specifications that are now available in the North American model. However, both will be marked with a “slightly significant” difference. While the European model will be powered by the brand’s Exynos 1330 processor, the American variant houses MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chip inside.
Further, the new smartphone has up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded through a microSDXC card slot.
On the optical front, the Galaxy A14 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and two macro and depth sensors, both of which are 2MP.
The frontal space is occupied by a 6.6-inch LCD screen that offers a Full HD + resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
It even sports One UI 5.0, based on Android 13, and is powered by a powerful 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
