Xiaomi, on Friday (17), launched a new basic cell phone with competitive specifications that promises to attract the attention of a global audience – although it is initially only available in China. The Redmi Note 13R was introduced without much fanfare, and serves as a cheaper option than the Redmi Note 13R Pro, which was launched in November 2023.
The cell phone attracts attention due to its glass design Equipped with a 6.79-inch screen with IPS LCD technologyFull HD+ (2460 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of just 550 nits. The panel has a centered cutout at the top that houses an 8-megapixel camera.
On the back, the Redmi Note 13R has a look that is in line with the brand's identity. There are two large cameras, including a main lens with a 50-megapixel sensor that measures 1/2.6 inches and offers an f/1.8 aperture, as well as a macro lens with a 2-megapixel sensor. The primary camera is also capable of recording videos in Full HD at 30fps.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The entry-level platform is manufactured with 4nm lithography and features an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The device works alongside useful memory options that include up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

The Redmi Note 13R is now available on the official Xiaomi store in China. There are three color options: black, silver and blue. Prices vary depending on memory option. paying off:

At the moment, there are no expectations for the launch of the new cell phone in Brazil. The brand's latest product to hit the national market is the Redmi 13C 5G, a 5G-enabled “basic” phone featuring MediaTek's Dimensity 6100 Plus platform.
