Rangers vs Hurricanes 7 Preview
The New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricane East will settle in Game 7 on Monday to face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the finals of the conference.
He had to give something. Carolina did not lose home in the playoffs and the Rangers did not lose in qualifying games. This included a 5-2 victory over the Rangers Hurricanes on May 28 to force a 7th game.
“It was great for us to be home,” said Hurricane Defender Brady Sky via ESPN’s Greg Vysysky. “We will try to throw this game away. Of course we did the same in the first round, winning and losing at home and outside.
Carolina has not won out of the house in six attempts this off-season. They lost the series 5-2, 4-1 and 3-1 to the Rangers. The Hurricanes beat the Rangers 2-1, 2-0 and 3-1 in extra time at Charlotte.
“We have to play like we play at home,” Philip Side told the Rangers center in Wiszczyk. “We found a way to win in Pittsburgh (on the road). This is the current game 7. We need to find a way to win the game. I know they have fans and they have a building to get used to. We have to play hard and play our game. Don’t focus on anything else. I think we can win.
