Princess Anne suffers amnesia after being hit by a horse

Princess Anne suffered memory loss after suffering head injuries caused by one of her horses.

On Monday, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement that the sister of King Charles III was hospitalized after an “accident” that caused her “minor injuries and a concussion.”

“The Princess Royal suffered minor injuries and concussion following an incident at Gatcombe Park Cottage yesterday. [domingo] afternoon. His Highness remains at Southmead Hospital in Bristol as a precaution.”

Gatcombe Park, located in the county of Gloucestershire, southwest England, is the country home of the 73-year-old princess, who loves horse riding. “After a period of observation, she is expected to make a full and speedy recovery. The King has been informed and joins the entire Royal Family in sending his love and best wishes to the Princess so that she can recover quickly.”

Princess Anne's engagements scheduled for this week have been canceled “on the recommendation of doctors”, including her participation in a banquet on Tuesday during the visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

Anna, who competed in the Montreal Olympics in 1976, has taken on more official obligations in recent months, while the King and Princess Kate, Prince William's wife, recover from health problems.
