No pomp or circumstance. This was Prince Harry's return to the United Kingdom. On Wednesday, May 8, the youngest son of Charles III arrived alone at St. Paul's Cathedral to attend a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. The sporting event he founded in 2014 for military personnel injured in the line of duty. Several members of the British royal family, including his brother William, were invited, but chose not to attend.

Meanwhile, about four kilometers away, the king was having a good time with Camilla at a party held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, accompanied by other members of the royal family. His agenda also includes a visit to a military training base on Thursday.

“Unfortunately, that will not be possible due to His Majesty’s busy schedule.”A spokesman for the Duke of Sussex said about a possible, albeit brief, meeting with the royal. “The Duke of course understands his father’s agenda and many other priorities and looks forward to seeing him soon.”he added.

This is expected to be another quick visit by Harry to the United Kingdom, as the prince currently lives with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibeth, in California, in the United States.

The last time Carlos III was with his son was in February, when he publicly revealed his cancer diagnosis. However, the meeting did not even last for an hour, as Harry had an event in the United States. This was not the case with Kate. According to the British press, he only learned about his sister-in-law's cancer through the media.

Once again, Harry is traveling alone. Meghan was initially scheduled to accompany him on this visit, but the North American's complicated relationship with her husband's family and fear of poor reception by the British prompted her to abandon the idea, at a time when she is trying to restore her reputation in the United States through a series of projects.
