Prime Day heats up tomorrow;  Understand how it will work


On July 11th and 12th, Amazon will hold the new version of the traditional Amazon Prime Day. But as new to this version, the company will have a “warm-up” that starts on Monday, the 3rd, and lasts until the 10th of July.

In the warm-up period, customers will be able to access early deals with up to 50% off the week before Prime Day. See below for more details on the event considered Black Friday at Amazon.

What is Prime Day?

Prime Day is a shopping event that features deals exclusive to Prime members. Anyone can access the discounts, just by being a member of the Amazon Prime plan.

Where is Prime Day held?

Exclusively for subscribers (Prime customers), Amazon Prime Day takes place in 25 countries and offers, in addition to discounts, free shipping on more than 100 million products in 50 categories, directly at Amazon site.

What items will be discounted on Prime Day?

Prime Day will provide product promotions and benefits on purchases and devices for music (Amazon Music), movies (Prime Video), Prime Reading, and Prime Gaming.

video head: Starting June 28, Prime Video is offering select rental titles at up to 50% off, including new releases.

Amazon Music: From today through July 13, Prime members get four months of free access to Amazon Music Unlimited. The service offers 100 million songs in HD.

Prime Gaming: Through July 12, Prime members can get access to classic games like “Prey,” “Baldur’s Gate II,” “Shovel Knight: Showdown,” and “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.”

Initial reading: Prime members will have access to book titles such as “Dune” (Frank Herbert), which inspired the huge success of cinema, the bestseller “Me and My Heart” (CC Hunter) and the literary classic “1984” (George Orwell).

Hardware: From July 6-12, Prime Day offers discounts on devices like the Echo, Fire TV, and Kindle, as well as Alexa-enabled smart home products.
