Portugal is a low cost paradise. Kik, the German brand of the deal has already been opened
It is a competition for Primark and Pepco, which will arrive only in 2023. The German company is preparing to open five more spaces.
Portugal has proven to be a fertile ground for the constant emergence of clothing, textiles and household items at low cost prices. after announcing Opening From Pepco, Primark’s Polish competitor, a new store intends to acquire space in this segment of the national retail business. The German brand Kik opened its first store last Saturday, September 24, in Retail Park dos Carvalhos, in the parish of Pedroso, in Vila Nova de Gaia. In addition to this opening, the German textile company is planning five more openings in the country.
It is expected that in the coming months, there will be new spaces in Greater Porto, Greater Lisbon and the Algarve areas, with no confirmed dates yet. They will join more than 4,000 stores of the brand in 14 European countries.
Like Primark, for example, the textile company also does not have an online store. Kik promises customers to stay dressed from head to toe for €30A very attractive value for those who think about their wallet before buying each piece.
“KiK is a fast-growing company. Expansion into new markets is part of our development strategy, with which KiK has, in recent years, become one of the major retail companies in Europe”, says Fernando Strubing Gomez, General Manager of Kik in Portugal and Spain.
