Pinto da Costa revealed that the FC Porto training academy construction project will be delivered at the end of this month.

After showcasing the infrastructure, at the Dragões de Ouro ceremony, the Porto president is now revealing this progress in Dragões magazine.

“The future will be marked by the realization of the dream of building an academy that will provide our training teams with the ideal facilities to continue the high-level work they have often achieved under difficult circumstances. “By the end of October, architect Manuel Salgado, author of Estádio do Dragão and Dragão Arena, will deliver the final project for the complex that will be crucial to the club’s sporting and economic success over the coming decades,” the club president wrote. FC Porto on its publications page published on Thursday.

The FC Porto Academy will be located on a 20-hectare plot of land and will be part of the future Parque Metropolitano da Maya, in the parishes of Nogueira y Silva Escura and São Pedro Vince.

The infrastructure will contain a League Two level stadium, nine 11-a-side football pitches and a seven-a-side football field, as well as medical offices, hydrotherapy, a gymnasium, changing rooms, recreation and study rooms, as well as 70 bedrooms, a kitchen and a dining room.
